First Public Exhibit

October 20, 2017

Well, I didn’t survive the 30 days of painting but it was a fun challenge and I learned a lot about what inspires me and how I feel about painting in general. For one thing, I learned that painting is a joyful time for me and if I force it with a time restraint the results are less gratifying. On the other hand, I also learnt that it is important to dedicate time every day to discovery and skill enhancement too. Painting every day lets you play with a kind of reckless abandon and that it is ok because it helps guide you into your own style as an artist.

I’m now happy to say that I will be hosting my first art exhibit here in Italy and if you are in the area I hope you will come by for a peek. I have a few pieces that have not yet been posted to social media and I am excited to unveil them on November 24th.

Send me a message here for more information if you are interested in attending the exhibit.
